"A welcome change of scenery; instead of riding round and round a manège, I decided to discover the great outdoors and joined a small group for the 2 o’clock trek. After a quick groom, I get to know “Aladin”, a docile chestnut, who waits quietly while I finish saddling him. Everyone is ready and impatient. At the end of the line, I follow our guide who shows us the way to go and sets the pace. We quickly reach the mountain pastures. After a short trot along a forest path, we set off on a fast gallop through the gentians. Excited, "Aladin" goes all out and races with the other horses ahead. I’m a bit scared because he’s going fast, really fast, but the pace slows and I get my breath back, delighted".
