"On the edge of the forest, we’re immediately welcomed by Mr Owl and a Big Grouse. Yes, I know, one is nocturnal and the other is a bird that’s really hard to see! But they remain stockstill as we approach. And from that point on, we don’t know where to look: here, a huge octopus, there a chameleon or a memorial to the Fée Verte. Half-way along, the “friends of the trail” have created a delightful picnic area. Great, we remembered to bring something to grill! Then we’re off again among the wildlife, flowers and human race: edelweiss, dominant lion, mysterious bearded men and, to finish, a self-portrait of the creator of this amazing land-art gallery... By the way, how long did we take to do the 200m climb? Some time!"
