"People will tell you “it’s cold up there”, that you have to be brave to swim in such cold water, that a glacial wind whips the faces of the people skating across the lake when it’s frozen. But, there’s a special, almost mysterious atmosphere there: in the summer, the light seems purer, noises are muffled, the sky seems bluer; it’s like the Altiplano at the Lac des Taillères. In winter, the atmosphere becomes magical: put on some of the skates provided, zigzag over the frozen lake, lift your face to the majestic pines, and then enjoy a hot crêpe from the chalet... What a delight to be able to revisit our childhood like this."
